ABSTRACT: This study examined the impact of early childhood education on global awareness, aiming to understand how early educational experiences shape children's understanding of the world. Objectives included evaluating the levels of global awareness among preschool children, identifying educational practices that enhance global understanding, and analyzing the long-term benefits of early global education. A survey design was employed, justified by its ability to capture diverse insights from a wide range of respondents. Using purposive sampling, 250 children from preschools in Lagos State, Nigeria, were selected. Findings showed that children exposed to global themes in their early education were more aware of international cultures, global issues, and diverse perspectives. Activities such as international days, global storytelling, and cultural celebrations were particularly effective. It was recommended that early childhood education programs incorporate global education themes to broaden children's horizons and foster global citizenship.
